Forest Sunset

A low-pitched, deep sound is heard in the distance; the stag is seeking a mate.  This highly emotional auditory scene takes us to the crack of dawn in the mists of the Tronçais forest in France’s Massif Central.  It reminds us of the incredibly rich variety of songs to be found in nature. These songs celebrate life and give us an auditory evolutionary timetable of the sound landscapes.
